Paper presentation in National/International Platforms:

  • Presented a paper entitled Putting Old Wine in New Bottle:An Appraisal of Sustainability of the Traditional Oja-Pali Performance of India in the 5th Annual International Conference on Visual and Performing Art organized by Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) in Athens, Greece, from 2nd June to 5th June, 2014. Presented a paper entitled Rituals and Customs as Reflected in Games:A Study of Assamese Folk Games in the 15th World Sanskrit Conference held at New Delhi from 5th to 10th January, 2012. Presented a paper entitled The Nature of Tradition in the National Seminar on Politico-historical and Social Cultural Constructs of North East India: Continuity and Change organized by the Asiatic Society, Kolkata in collaboration with Gauhati University, Guwahati on 9th and 10th March, 2011 Presented a paper entitled The Lost Avenues of Amusement: A Review of Folk Games of Assam in the 27th Session of Indian Folklore Congress held at Guwahati from 31st Janua
